I’ve been dying to share this project. I video recorded the entire project from start to finish, but I’ve had trouble editing it 🎥🎬 ughhh.
This was for my Brother-in-Law and Sister-in-Law for their Black and White wedding in September of 2015.
The bottom two boxes are the largest size of the United States Postal Service. They’re free at your local post office!!!
The small top box is a kids shoe box. I cut the bottom of the middle box and the top of the bottom box so that the two boxes are hollow in the middle. This allows the envelopes to fall all the way to the bottom. The small to box on top is just for decoration, it is not connected to the inside of the bottom two boxes.
I wrapped 11 sheets of 12×12 scrapbook paper around each side. The top box has a lid that is wrapped individually instead of around the whole thing. I finished each individual box before hot glueing them all together.
I made mini boxes out of the same paper as the lid. It holds up the letters and flowers, but doesn’t stand out. The chipboard letters were from a $1 bin at Target. The paper flowers are from Prima. The picture below is viewed from the back.
I used strips from a diamond mesh roll for all 3 boxes for some bling 💎
My Sister-in-Law sent me this picture of the over flowing envelopes. SO AWESOME!
I loved making this box! I made one for my own wedding the night before my reception LOL it was simple and a lot smaller.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog!!! Lots of love & hugs ❤
MERRY CHRISTMAS to all!!! It’s been a while since I’ve posted on this creative space 😒 but
I’d like to share the fireplace and chimney I created for my work desk … This isn’t my original idea, I pulled it from Pinterest. I hand cut it from copy paper boxes! I changed the computer background to a fireplace and removed any screensaver.
I pulled this together over 2 very late nights and felt like giving up a few times lol but I successfully completed it. 🙌 Love and miss everyone here, hope to see you again in 2016!
Happy Monday!!! I wanted to post this yesterday, but my Hunny Bunny and I opted to pick up a pizza and watch a handful of New Releases. Sweet and blissful love. It’s what makes my world go ’round.
Speaking of love, I’m sharing a layout I made. My favorite photo of us the night of my brother’s wedding. I actually backed it on thick chipboard that I can frame and hang up.
I’m submitted this project to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes With Buttons.
I impulsively purchased the huge flower waiting in line at Michael’s (those dollar bins are dangerous lol). The key too!!! Everything else I pulled from my existing stash and just kept layering until it looked good.
BONUS DIY: If you look real close you can see some color sprays behind the flower and picture. This is the first time I use sprays or mists so I went light. Looking back now, I wish I had sprayed heavier lol
I bought empty spray bottles and gel food coloring. They don’t clog up the sprayers and the color is richer. I YouTubed tutorials and watched dozens of vids before deciding this was what I wanted to try first.
Thanks guys! Up next: I pulled out an unfinished project from the vault 😉
Friends, I’m so excited!!! … I know I’ve been MIA. I’m sorry blah blah blah (how many times can I apologize for the same thing lol) … Anyway, if you haven’t liked my FaceBook page yet please do so! Because while I haven’t been on here, I have been sharing a few odds & ends over there. Including my hoarding confession LOL 😉
I struggle with Copic Markers. I love them. I love buying them. But I suck at using them. I’m excited because I’ve finally been able to color an image that looks decent and I’m happy with. Woo hoo!
It’s a Saturated Canary image with Wink of Stella on the wings. Be happy for me! This is amazing progress.
It’s Super Bowl Sunday!!! … and I’m bringing you another Babyshower Guestbook LOL. Last time I showed you a Girl’s book so today I have a Boy’s book. I love this one! I love the paper and embellishments I used. It looks cleaner cut and straight lined. I love that look.
The actual invitation that was sent out to guests; inside front cover
I hope you enjoyed!!! I still have another boy and a unisex babyshower guestbook to show you, but in due time. GO SEAHAWKS!!! 😉
So, I keep seeing everyone use these adorable enamel dots and pearls on their cards and Project Life. Some at decent prices and some not. So what do we do!?!? YouTube it and then make it ourselves!!!
I have a small cheapie standard got glue gun, but it’s high temp so it does what I need it to. I just started globbing hot glue on my Ranger craft mat and tapped underneath it to smooth out the glue and any bubbles. Gave it a night to dry and slapped some nail polish on them. They popped right off the mat. I used my Cutter Bee’s to clean up any dried nail polish around the edge.
Voilà!!! Homemade enamel dots. When they’re on a project you can’t see any imperfections! Even if you did, it just adds to the curiosity 😉
Can you even see a difference from homemade to store bought!?!?! (above).
These are super adorbs! I can’t wait to start adding that extra little something to my projects.
